antistar_e: Challenge: Minor Characters

This week's challenge is Minor Characters. Because we like vague :) So give us 100 words about Eva, Melissa, Aftran, whoever. They can be the focus of your drabble, or you could talk about them, through them, or hell, just mention them once =D But let's give the minor characters of Animorphs some love!

antistar_e: Challenge: 2007

Hey, all! amaronith posted an unofficial lyric prompt, and c'mon, who doesn't love lyric prompts? =D The drabbles were posted in reply to the post, so in case it's disappeared off your flist, the post can be found here. I'm sure amaronith wouldn't object to more love :)

And... because I missed posting this week, the challenge for the general area of time until I next post is 2007. So the Animorphs would be... how old and what are they doing? =D

stormfairy: Challenge: Hork-Bajir

Yes, I suppose the week is up, but here goes anyway. And yes, I know I've cheated. (Please do not blame me for the twists of my unruly mind. It's out of my hands, I tell you.)

Title: Project Seraph
Challenge: Hork-Bajir (inspired)
Word count: 110

Seraph-A64 waited behind the Andalite Prince, wondering what his private thoughtspeech hid.

She was a novelty, already proven in man's eyes, there to prove man in Andalite eyes. While Andalites had tails, Hork-Bajir blades, man's only natural weapon remained his wit. Wit, which had produced Project Seraph. Man had gone far in 50 years.

Beneath her skin hid metal copies of a Hork-Bajir's blades, extractable by thought. Another thought produced gliding wings - the namesake of herself and her siblings.

The Andalites moved. Seraph-A64 followed. "Prince. Shall I come?"

Doubting eyes spoke before words. <Can you use those blades, Seraph?>

But doubting minds had been well bribed. <Then come.>

This is actually inspired by the last person's post(thank you!) because I read theirs and thought that "forgetting" was the challenge. So I hope this is okay.

crash_g0ddess: Challenge: Hork-Bajir

Title: Forget
Challenge: Hork-Bajir
Word Count: 107

I am a Hork-Bajir, and I had a name once. In our language, it meant “new sun.” I was named in the spirit of change; in the hope of freedom.

The hope vanished when I came to a useful age and was infested along with the others. A creature slid into my ear with a name of his own, and I ceased to exist. Even as he became me, or I him, the Yeerk never bothered to learn my name. If there is one thing I have learned here, it is that the Yeerks never ask. I lost my name then, and that was what they wanted.

antistar_e: Challenge: Driving

Hello! I hope you all had a nice Easter. I'm under a foot of snow here, so wishings of warm weather to you.

This week's challenge was suggested quite a while ago by djtifabal, and it's Driving. Learning to drive is a major milestone in any teenager's life, even ones working on fighting an alien invasion =D You could write about any of that, or whatever image you get with the word "driving." Have fun! Be creative!

antistar_e: Challenge: Some Restrictions Apply

Hey, all!

This week's challenge is Some Restrictions Apply. You must be this tall to ride. Slippery when wet. Not safe for children under 3, just for some examples =D

And also, I forgot to mention this in the last mod post, but we're always open to suggestions! :) Just comment here, or on any challenge post!
